Not impressed, of course everybody was moving about trying to consolidate their position. As usual, there was scapegoating of the Copts, certainly by the MB, but somewhat surprisingly by SCAF, although we all noted their passivity in the face of these attacks against the Copts. Baradei was a front man everybody wanted, SCAF, MB and everybody else, that also is not surprising. Overall, it shows the US hedging in favor of the MB and how active they were in the situation trying to broker a deal for power transfer to their lackeys in the MB. Anybody with any sense would have tried to placate Mossad during those days as the situation was very delicate and Mossad has had assets in Egypt all along. All I can say further is that I think Tantawi was playing all sides from the middle and he succeeded at the end, He was cunning and acted as a mentor to Sisi who finished the job. I don't think this document rates as
an "oh my God", rather a ho hum except for everybody wanting to beat up on the Copts, something that has been there for almost a 15 centuries, when in doubt, beat up on the Copts. Remember when the US Copts went to see Hillary about this she said, and I paraphrase her book, "the US is always interested in preserving minorities", lame and disingenuous as usual.
