High-level Egyptian sources warned on Monday against pushing civilian Palestinians towards the Egyptian borders and fueling calls for mass displacement, Al-Qahera News said.

Sources informed Al-Qahera News that Egypt has not stopped attempting to defuse the crisis since the escalation of the situation in the occupied territories.
The sources added that Egypt intensified its communications with all relevant parties in the international community to halt the escalation and preserve the lives of the Palestinian people.
The sources emphasized that Cairo's vision was far-sighted when it warned everyone about the danger of the situation and its implications for the core issues of the Palestinian cause.
They stressed the peril of calls for displacement, as they could lead to the evacuation of the region's inhabitants and the undermining of the Palestinian issue itself, in addition to the fact that Egyptian sovereignty is not to be violated.
The source said the occupying authority must establish humanitarian corridors to rescue the people of Gaza.
They emphasized the importance of heeding reason and immediately ceasing military operations.
The Egyptian statement comes as the Palestinian-Israeli war continues for the third day and Israel intensifies its military attack against the Gaza Strip.
